Dottie West, recording star and songwriter, was a leading lady of country music for 30 years. She had more than 60 hits, mentored a generation of singers, became a model of resilience in the face of crises and was one of the most widely-admired vocalists of her generation. She recorded duets with several artists, including Kenny Rogers. Travel to her hometown of McMinnville, Tennessee to read more of her story and see the area where she grew up.
