Clay Faulkner named his 1896 mansion "Falcon Rest," and "restful" is an appropriate description of Falcon Manor, the four bed-and-breakfast-style guest suites on the mansion's grounds. There's lots to do on the grounds, from taking a guided tour of the mansion, shopping for treasures in the Victorian Gift Shop, having lunch or tea in the Victorian Tea Room or strolling the gardens and relaxing in a rocking chair. Though in a peaceful country setting, Falcon Manor is just minutes from downtown McMinnville and its historic Main Street. It's the ideal place to stay for Bluegrass Underground Concerts at McMinnville's Cumberland Caverns and hiking at nearby Rock Island or Fall Creek Falls State Parks. Its central location between Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville makes it a great base for any Middle Tennessee vacation.
