Rice's Country Hams

Stepping inside this wooden, roadside building is like stepping back in time. Once the community's old country store, today it's home to some of the area's best home-cured country ham, sausage, and bacon, and they have a wall of trophies and ribbons to prove it! Edward Rice, Sr. started curing country hams more than 60 years ago in his backyard smokehouse. Today, in addition to their famous meats, visitors can buy homemade jams, jellies and mixes.
