Dumas Walker came to fame when the Kentucky Headhunters immortalized him in their second southern rock hit, "Dumas Walker." The song was on the Headhunters' second country album, "Pickin' on Nashville" and the music video aired on CMT when it was exclusively a music video channel. Walker was a champion marbles player. The game, called Rolley Hole, had elements of pool, golf and croquet and was played on a marble-yard measuring 20 by 40 feet. He was celebrated as one of the game's best players. The annual National Rolley Hole Marble Tournament is held at Standing Stone State Park, south of Celina, Tennessee and is the largest of its kind.
