AK Bissell Park

Learn more about Oak Ridge's WWII history with a stroll through this park named after the city's first mayor. The Secret City Commemorative Walk on the east end of the park was built in 2005 and pays homage to the businesses and workers of the Manhattan Project whose efforts helped end the war. Each June, the park is home to the annual Secret City Festival, featuring the South's largest WWII reenactment.
