The Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival, celebrating our 10th Anniversary will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at or around Court House Square in beautiful Wartburg, TN.
Each year when the mountain laurel blooms, this Wartburg festival in Morgan County Tennessee shows off their natural splendor like the Mountain Laurel 5K Trail Run and 10K Road Run race, and the Mountain Laurel Hiking Marathon.
The festivities kick off on Friday night at 7:00 PM, May 16, featuring our first gospel group, The Griffiths. The night begins with a Dog-Friendly 1.10 K Fun Run before the concert. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks display.
On Saturday, the festival opens at 10:00 AM offering delicious food, vendors and a designated children's area. Exciting special events include: helicopter rides, live music, including Elvis. Keep an eye out for Elvis and Disney Characters as they roam the festival grounds for photo opportunities.
Join the Hike MoCo Mountain Laurel Hiking Marathon or find flowers on your own along the designated trails that span Frozen Head State Park, Pickett CCC Memorial State Park, Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail, Obed Wild & Scenic River and other area parks.
