The 9th Annual Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival is almost here, Mark your calendar for May 17th and 18th.
Each year when the mountain laurel blooms, this Wartburg festival in Morgan County Tennessee shows off their natural splendor like the Mountain Laurel 5K Ridge Run race, and the Mountain Laurel Hiking Marathon.
Friday night Kick Off will be downtown fun ending with a large fireworks display, courtesy of the Brushy Group.
Saturday the day begins with the 5k Ridge Run and the festival begins at 10:00 AM around court square. Come and experience a day with live music, great food, vendors, artisan crafts, silent auction, car show and so much more
Join the Hike MoCo Mountain Laurel Hiking Marathon or find flowers on your own along the 24 designated trails that span Frozen Head State Park, Pickett CCC Memorial State Park, Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail, Obed Wild & Scenic River and other area parks.
