Nestled in the core of South Jackson Civic Center is Tullahoma’s first public school building, with the old exposed brick walls and cornerstone still intact. This original part of the structure was erected in 1886! South Jackson Civic Association has operated for the past thirty years as a presenting organization and community resource. Today South Jackson is the only facility of its kind in the region. It has hosted more than 2,500 events, and includes rehearsal facilities, conference and meeting rooms, a 400-seat auditorium, full stage with proscenium arch and a local history museum.
