Welcome to McNairy County! Home to big legends, fine music, great food, a little history, and some adventurous woods. We have a little of everything right here at the Tennessee-Mississippi State Line. The crossroads of Highway 64 and 45 South. The place where Elvis and Carl Perkins met for the first time and made history in the Rockabilly Way. The birthplace of Dewey Phillips and Sheriff Buford Pusser. The Battle of Falling Timbers and Davis Bridge has now been entered into the National Parks Service. Shiloh National Miltary Park and Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center are steps away. If you like the science side we have Coon Creek Science Center Fossil Deposit, McNairy Planetarium, and Big Hill Pond State Park that is dark sky certified and offers after dark opportunities to explore the stars. Remember for the Love of Tennessee, Travel Safe!
