Experience the energy of Memphis by capturing the biggest nightly LED light show on the Mississippi River, running every half-hour from sundown to 10:30 p.m. in concert on both the Hernando de Soto Bridge and Big River Crossing.
The Hernando de Soto Bridge opened in 1973 and was illuminated with its original lights in 1986, representing an iconic landmark on the Memphis riverfront for decades. In 2018, the Mighty Lights illuminated the bridge with LED, customizable lights, an attraction favored by locals and tourists alike. From dynamic light shows to community celebrations and causes, the Mighty Lights brightens the city skyline as a source of both community pride and entertainment.
