With its secluded, scenic views, Dorchester Golf Club is a favorite among Fairfield Glade residents and guests. By today’s standards it’s not long, but the Bentgrass greens, narrow tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water on 8 of the 18 holes, make it a challenge for even skilled golfers. You may want to talk mulligans before you even tee up your first ball. Dorchester has a mean starting hole, with water coming into play off the men’s tee box and again approaching the green. A creek running through the back nine comes into play on three holes you’ll be talking about for awhile. Along with Stonehenge, Dorchester co-hosted the Tennessee State Open for several years during the eighties and nineties.
