More than 50 miles of Tennessee River/ Kentucky Lake shoreline wander through Benton County, Tennessee. Its natural beauty offers a wide variety of water recreational opportunites including boating, fishing, hunting, swimming, and fun for the entire family!

​Benton County also can claim touting rights to housing the State of Tennessee's Official Site of Freshwater Pearl Culturing- growing Tennessee's Official Gem: the Freshwater Pearl. The Tennessee Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm, and Tour is located at Birdsong Resort, a 53 acre recreational complex in Camden. 

Discover a rich histroy with a heritage at The Folk Life Museum atop Pilot Knob in Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park. It tells the stories of Civil War, river folklore, area agriculture, native American History, and the pearling industry. 

Take a day trip along the scenic Magic Valley Quilt Block Trail; visit the Patsy Cline Memorial; or journey to the northeastern most part of the county for a ride on the Benton-Houston Ferry.
