The Luez Theater is a fully renovated and operational historic theater in Bolivar, TN. The theater originally opened in 1936 and is named after Miss Louise Mask, the original owner of the theater. The theater closed in 2012 when it became unable to continue operating with film but could not afford to upgrade to digital equipment. In 2013 the theater changed hands again and for four years the surrounding community worked to "Save the Luez". Over $440k was raised to update and renovate The Luez. It reopened in 2018.
This multi-purpose venue is open to host movies, live music, special events and more.
