The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is proud to present the Annual Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival, celebrating over 20,000 majestic Sandhill Cranes that stopover at the beautiful Hiwassee Refuge on their winter migration. This family friendly festival provides a chance to experience the call, which can be heard for over a mile, the dance between mates, the wingspan which stretches to eight feet and the view of this four foot tall bird, along with entertainment, vendors and children’s activities. Come join us at this premier birding event. tnwildlife.org
