We look like a depot, but we're more than just about trains. The Monterey Depot Museum covers our rich mountain heritage from prehistoric Indians, who not only hunted deer, buffalo and turkeys, but also mastadons and saber-toothed tiger to coal miners who spent most of their lives underground and timber cutters who spent their days in the woods.
Come, hear the tales and legends of the mountains.
Sunday 1-4 p.m.
