Ceremonial flag of the Barrow Guards, Gordon's Bn., later known as Co. C, 1st Tenn. Cav. Regt. (Col. James T. Wheeler's), CSA. The flag is hand-sewn with eleven stenciled stars and belonged to Capt. E. E. (Jim) Buchanan. Capt. Buchanan presented the flag at veterans' reunions and funerals. The flag was possibly sewn by Lucinda East Buchanan, Capt. Buchanan's mother.
