The Wayne County Historical Society seeks to discover, procure, and preserve such facts and articles as relate directly or collaterally to the natural and aboriginal, civil and political, military, literary or ecclesiastical history of Wayne County, Tennessee, these facts and articles to be properly publicized and made available for study and research by students and scholars. rn The Society holds four quarterly meetings each year, each in a historic site of the Wayne County. The largest event is the Wayne County Family History and Crafts Fair, which is held the second Saturday of each July. The event has drawn visitors from three states in the past few years, in addition to several cities in Tennessee. rn We would appreciate any advertisement of the Fair. Thank you.
