Watauga Point Recreation Area

National Forest recreation area along a four-mile stretch of Watauga Lake. Group picnic area may be reserved for a fee. Day-use and camping fee. 

Directions: From Elizabethton, take US 19E/321 south for 5 miles to Hampton. Turn left on US 321/TN 67. Go south for 5 miles. Turn left onto Watauga Point.
