The Homeplace Living History Farm
Golden Pond, TN
Offering visitors a glimpse into the lives of a 19th-century farm family. Originally part of a Revolutionary War land grant, comprised of 16 original and restored log structures. Living history events are held throughout the year. Located in the Tennessee portion of Land Between The Lakes, a 170,000-acre peninsula nestled between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Open March - November.
Directions: From Dover, take 79 S to the LBL southern entrance. Turn on this rd, in about 4-5 miles it turns into The Trace. Follow signs to LBL. From Nashville, take I-24 west into Kentucky to the Cadiz/Hopkinsville exit, exit 65. Turn left onto US 68/80. Follow this road app. 12 miles to the entrance of The Trace Visitor Center. Follow signs to the Homeplace.
From I24 west take exit 65 to travel west on Hwy. 68/80. Look for the entrance of LBL off of Hwy 68/80, then follow the signs to The Homeplace.
