Built around 1817 - 1818 by Captain John Gordon. His acclaim as a fearless fighter and spy was acknowledged from Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi.
Located at the northern terminus of Natchez Trace Parkway off Highway 50 in Hickman County. Site is halfway between Columbia, Tennessee and Centerville, Tennessee. I-65 & I-40 can be accessed to reach Highway 50.
