Located along Watauga River's trophy trout section. 30 sites, tables, firepits and modern bathhouse. Open year-'round. 

Directions: Exit 32 from I-181 in Johnson City. Follow Hwy. 91 north to intersection of East Main & Broadway. Continue on Hwy. 91 north 2.1 miles. Turn left beside gas station onto Smalling Rd. Go 2 1/2 miles, cross river bridge. Campground on left.
