McGavock Confederate Cemetery

Nation's largest private Confederate cemetery holds remains of 1481 Confederate soldiers killed in the Civil War Battle of Franklin. 

Directions: Ex. 65 off I-65: W. towards Franklin. Travel 1 mi. to Mack Hatcher Blvd., turn L. Travel 1.2 mi. to U.S. 431/Lewisburg Pike, turn R. Travel 1.2 mi. to Carnton Lane & turn L. (entrance to Heath Place residential development). Go to end of Carnton Lane.
