T.B. Mayfield purchased 45 Jersey cows in 1910 and began delivering milk to hometown Athens customers. Generations later, his family milk and ice cream business has become a national favorite dairy brand. In 1950, a modern milk plant was built by Thomas B. Mayfield III and C. Scott Mayfield Sr.

And, today, with advanced technology utilized to bring the best products and innovative packaging to customers, Mayfield is a national dairy leader. Scottie and Rob Mayfield are fourth-generation Mayfields, overseeing dairy operations.
