<p>What started out in a little coffee shop in September of 2009 has emerged into a group of over 30 local artists. The artists banded together to form the Art Brigade of Tennessee. After a fast and wonderful chain of events, we now have our own cooperative location, Main Street Arts in Pleasant View, Tennessee. rnrnOur mission is to celebrate and support a variety of art forms produced by a rich cross section of artists in Tennessee and regions beyond. To encourage and promote creativity with integrity and purpose while being resourceful and insightful in our works. To improve the overall cultural environment of our communities.rnrnWe are a community supported non-profit corporation that provides cultural and educational programs. We have numerous art classes for children and adults, beginning and professional artists, and have become a fun and exciting art center for our community.rnrnMain Street Arts is a small gallery located in a historic home with an onsite studio space. In the gallery space we have group and solo exhibits, student art shows and retail sales. Ten percent of all Main Street Arts revenues goes to our scholarship fund designated for children and adults that want to pursue the arts and need some financial assistance to do so.rnrnWe offer Art Brigade of Tennessee Memberships for participating artists, students, adults and families. Membership has a variety of benefits including retail and class discounts. All revenues from membership goes to our scholarship fund and helps to further our mission.rnrnCome see us at Main Street Arts, support your local artists and contribute to creative growth in Tennessee!</p>
