There’s a new festival in Knoxville that’s unlike any other in the city’s history. Knoxville Films is joining with several music, film, and business organizations to announce the 2013 Knoxville Film & Music Festival. For the past few years Knoxville Films has brought the celebration of film and film making to downtown Knoxville through The Knoxville 24 Hour Film Festival. After forming music partnerships with the Carleo Entertainment, the Downtown Arts Association, The Artists Box and Fleta Fest, they’ve expanded this year to become a premiere music festival as well. June 1-15, The Knoxville Film & Music Festival (KFMF) will feature two film competitions, film screenings, live musical performances, and media-business workshops. The venues are some of Knoxville’s finest; including restaurants, clubs, and outdoor venues in the Old City, Market Square and Gay Street.
