Historic Jonesborough Downtown District. Unique shops and restaurants are located in a beautifully-preserved main street historic district. Bed & Breakfast inns, a museum, tours and carriage rides offer the visitor a unique experience. Guided walking or buggy tours include sites that were headquarters, hospitals, prisons, cemeteries and homes related to the Civil War. Tour begins at the visitors center. Self-guided county tour also available.
