In the early 1940s, Ira Ike Irving bought this small house at Emanuels corner, an intersection named for the owner of an Amish farm located nearby. Irving remodeled the home to make it a country store and bus flag stop. Much has stayed the same here since then, including the 1933 soda fountain and ticket booth.
