Historic Edgefield, Inc., is a non-profit neighborhood association comprised of all residents within our neighborhood boundaries, homeowners and tenants alike. Our goal is to improve the quality of life within our unique urban environment, while preserving its residential and historic quality and maintaining its diversity. 

Directions: Edgefield is Nashville's historic residential neighborhood located nearest to downtown on the East Bank. Our boundaries are: South Fifth Street eastward to South Tenth Street, including most blocks on Shelby, Boscobel, Fatherland, Russell and Woodland Streets. Since organizing in 1975, the neighborhood association has--and continues to be-- a vital and integral force in bringing about change and positive growth in East Nashville, in addition to celebrating and preserving our unique historic heritage.
