Ducktown Basin Museum

The museum is located on the Burra Burra Mine site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Burra Burra Mine site is a Tennessee Historical Commission State-Owned Historic Site. The site consists of 10 buildings on 17 acres and was the headquarters for Tennessee Copper Company's mine operations from 1899 to 1975. The museum's mission is to preserve and interpret the cultural and industrial heritage of this copper-mining region of southern Appalachia. 

Directions: Located just north of the junction of US 64 and TN Hwy. 68 in Ducktown. The museum entrance is located on TN Hwy. 68.
