Request a special table inside an old jail cell—complete with iron bars—and

Fayetteville's most unique and historic dining experience! The calaboose was built in the 1860s of limestone rock with a wood building in the front for the fire station. In 1906, a fire destroyed the wood building and the fire hall (as now stands) was built in front of the calaboose. In 1954, the cinderblock fire truck garage was built behind the cells. The metal cells located in the back room were once used as portable cells. They transported and housed prisoners while they worked on the roads.

Cahoots Restaurant was opened in October 1987 and offers great food and a unique atmosphere for all ages.

We hope you enjoy the Fayettville tour. Stop by and see us!

Now that you've had a great meal, you're ready to go explore Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum.
