Grand Smoky Mountain views await you at the Buckhorn Inn. Elegance and period charm mix with the friendly, romantic atmosphere of a Smoky Mountain lodge, preserving what people come to this part of the country to enjoy: an abundance of natural beauty in a peaceful setting.
Buckhorn Inn has been a favorite destination for discriminating visitors to the Great Smoky Mountains since 1938. Situated less than a mile from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Buckhorn Inn is convenient to all activities and attractions in the area including hiking, arts and crafts, musical theaters and discount shopping outlets. Buckhorn Inn is located in the nationally acclaimed Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile loop of small shops run by craftsman and artists.
Beauty, peace and solitude emanate from the pine and hemlock forest surrounding Buckhorn Inn, while the ever-changing view of the Great Smoky Mountains never fails to inspire the visitor. Walk our nature trail, fish in our pond, admire our lovely gardens spread out on our twenty-five acre estate.
We offer a number of lodging options. In the Inn's main building, there are five traditional rooms and three premier rooms, all beautifully furnished with antiques and artwork. A short stroll away, seven private cottages with living rooms and fireplaces are nestled in the woodlands around the Inn. Three gorgeous guesthouses offer even more privacy and space.
Dining at Buckhorn Inn is a delightful experience of the best in regional cooking. Crafted with skill and care, our Southern-influenced meals are ones to remember, from our hearty breakfasts to our delectable dinners. Three professional chefs work their magic every day to offer you a beautifully presented, hearty breakfast which is included in the room rate. You may choose from a number of selections on our menu which changes daily.
We are the only inn in the county to offer its guests the option of dinner each evening. Served by soft candlelight in the dining room overlooking the mountains, this sumptuous repast contains only the freshest and best quality ingredients—all carefully selected by our chefs.
