A slight turn onto Skelley Road brings you to a true country store and restaurant, Nett’s (R), serving delicious home-made pies, great cooking, and live music from time to time. Next door is Bethel Baptist Church, originally built in 1883 as a Methodist-Episcopal house of worship, and the community center, a former school (1914) that is now home to live music and dancing on the third Saturday night of the month. You are welcome to join the locals for an authentic pickin’ and grinnin’ experience.
