Strategic Sourcing Manager, Tennessee Department of General Services

As Strategic Sourcing Manager for the Purchasing Division of the Tennessee Department of General Services, Mr. Johnson is responsible for supporting the Strategic Sourcing process within the Purchasing Division including cost and operational analysis of several programs at Tennessee Cook Chill, implementing sustainable chemicals program in Institutional Cleaning Contract, and developing Energy Management Program including Board of Standards Product List and Life Cycling Costing and associated purchasing processes.

Mr. Johnson began his employment with the State of Tennessee in July, 2007. Prior to his current position he worked for Gaylord Entertainment Company for 17+ years in the following roles: Corporate Strategic Sourcing Manager/Food & Beverage, Purchasing Manager, Food and Beverage for the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, as well as Materials Manager for the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Opryland Themepark.
