Project Team Wins Award For Tennessee River Trail & Scenic Byway
The Kimley-Horn project team behind the marketing effort and audio tour for the Tennessee River Trail & Scenic Byway won an ADDY in the Public Service Integrated Campaign category. With more than 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition. Components of the award-winning marketing package include a website with downloadable maps, video clips and sample itineraries. Joe Elmore of Nashville Public Television’s Tennessee Crossroads hosts the lesson plans and a two-disc audio tour. A number of past and present residents of the nine-county region including Country music’s Darryl Worley; award-winning actress Cherry Jones; Cissie Lynn (daughter of Coal Miner’s Daughter Loretta Lynn); and gospel singer Bobby Jones.
