James Beard Awards and Finalists in Tennessee
Prince’s Hot Chicken to Receive James Beard Award
The Beard foundation announced that Nashville’s Prince's Hot Chicken would be one of five recipients of the America's Classics Award, May 6 in NYC.
Several other Tennessee restaurants and chefs were named semifinalists
2013 James Beard Foundation Restaurant and Chef Award Semifinalists from Tennessee.
The following semifinalists were standouts among 44,000 entries.
Best New Restaurant:
Hog & Hominy, Memphis
Lockeland Table, Nashville
Outstanding Wine Program:
The Barn at Blackberry Farm, Walland, TN
Best Chef Southeast:
Tyler Brown, Capitol Grille at the Hermitage Hotel, Nashville
Joseph Lenn, the Barn at Blackberry Farm, Walland
Daniel Lindley, St. John’s Restaurant, Chattanooga
Margot McCormack, Margot Café & Bar, Nashville
Tandy Wilson, City House, Nashville
