Confederate Cemetery Re-Dedicated

Steve McAllister and the Sons of Confederate Veterans hosted a dedication ceremony for the Confederate Cemetery in Athens honoring the family of General James T. Lane. Boy Scout Troup #624 cleared the site and added steps leading to the site. The  project was coordinated so that the scouts could earn their Eagle Scout Badges, the historic cemetery would receive a facelift and become more visitor friendly.
