Fontanel Expands to Include an Inn and a Distillery
Prichard’s Distillery, the first craft distiller founded in Tennessee in the past 50 years, and the Inn at Fontanel celebrated their grand opening on June 18 at Fontanel.
The Inn at Fontanel was originally built as the 2013 Southern Living Idea House, and then transformed into a 4-Star luxury boutique hotel. There are six separate and unique suites guests can choose from in the five-structure estate connected by 2,700 sq. ft. of deck and plush patios.
The new Prichard’s production facility is their second distillery location and is adjacent to the log cabin tasting center. It includes a 400-gallon Alembic copper still custom-designed by Vendome Copper and Brassworks in the style of French cognac, the first still of its kind in Tennessee.
Fontanel is a 186 acre hospitality and entertainment destination that welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year. The center jewel of the complex is Fontanel Mansion, a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame® member Barbara Mandrell. It is Nashville’s only country music mansion tour giving visitors a sneak peek into the lives of country music greats.
The complex also includes the Woods Amphitheater, Prichard’s Distillery, the Pepsi Studio Gallery, Cafe Fontanella, Goo Goo Outpost, AdventureWorks Ziplines and more. It is located just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville in Whites Creek.
