And the Winner for the best commercial is...The Land of More
A bespectacled, redheaded boy who constantly reminds his parents of the joys of Pigeon Forge vacation helped the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism add an Emmy Award to its collection of industry recognitions. The award was in an Emmy category for “commercials” and was for the “Remember When” spot that supported the city’s 2013 Land of More marketing campaign.
“I don’t know any other tourism destination that has won an Emmy Award, much less four of them,” said Leon Downey, executive director of the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism.
BOHAN Advertising in Nashville produced “Remember When” and the three previous Emmy Award winners. BOHAN has been Pigeon Forge’s marketing agency since 1990.
