The LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge

LeConte CenterLeConte CenterThe city of Pigeon Forge has officially opened its $45 million multi-purpose building designed to attract trade shows, competitive events, special events, festivals and large assemblies. The LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge will provide space for events such as the expanding International Gift Exposition in the Smokies/Souvenir Super Show, the National Quartet Convention (which already has booked 5,000 room nights for 2014), denominational youth rallies and other events. It is expected to have a major impact on business activity in Pigeon Forge and East Tennessee.

Earlene Teaster, city Manager, was also recognized for dedicating more than four decades of service to Pigeon Forge and her unwavering passion for the city and its people.  A plaque, noting her achievements, was unveiled at the entrance to the center.
