Free day of fun for families and individuals starting at 8 a.m. Kite flying, pontoon boat rides, living history demonstrations, 3-legged and sack races, crafting, wildflower, butterfly, and bird identification hikes, prizes, cupcake or cookie decorating,
live entertainment and more.
You are welcome to bring your lunch to enjoy a full day in the park or just come to visit for a while. However, some activities, including the boat rides, require sign-ups for a limited number on a first come, first serve basis. Sign-ups for these will begin at 8 a.m. in front of the Visitors Center.
This is a free event but donations to the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park will be appreciated and help us offer activities througout the year.
