Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: Mendelssohn's "Italian" Symphony
Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Classics Series presents Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony. KSO Music Director Lucas Richman will lead the Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra performing Mendelssohn’s Overture to “The Fair Melusina,” Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, featuring the Knoxville Chamber Chorale, and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 ("Italian”). The concert will take place at the Bijou Theatre at 2:30 PM. There will be a discussion immediately following the concert with the performers.
