Butterfly Rose is an Americana duo featuring Carol Zamora Ward and Kaye Pryor. Based in Nashville, TN, Carol and Kaye have combined their harmonies and songwriting talents to form a unique vocal blend. Over three years ago, they began writing together and felt they were onto something fun and creative. They also realized they wanted their music to have a purpose that would give back in some way. Both ladies were inspired by the stories of ten amazing women from the Smoky Mountains region and wrote original songs about each one of them to share their legacies with future generations. Finding out how difficult life was for some of these women, Carol and Kaye found a little humor in the thought of themselves trying to survive mountain life. With that in mind, they also wrote "The Women of the Smokies" song with a comic touch to compare how hard it would have been to live that kind of life.Retreat to your comfy room for a relaxing night of peaceful slumber.
