The Town of Coopertown announces its plans to host their first annual outdoor event—The Coopertown Barrel Festival—and asks potential vendors to register for booths by March 1, 2013. $20 secures a 10’x10’ booth and front row seat to a day of live music, heritage exhibits, barrel races, tractor showings and numerous other family fun activities, including a corn hole tournament. Those interested may contact City Hall at 615.382.4470 or visit www.coopertowntn.org for a registration form. The festival serves as the first community-wide fundraiser hosted by the Coopertown Community Development Committee. This group of town volunteers meets the second Tuesday of every month at City Hall, 6pm, in hopes of garnering public good will and active participation for Coopertown residents and visitors and neighboring communities.
