There have always been reports of paranormal activity at The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson throughout the years. Now visitors can find out if the stories are true…or not. The Hermitage is proud to announce the return of our lantern-led after-hours tours this October. Join us as your guide takes you on an eerie 90-minute tour of The Hermitage Mansion, the garden and cemetery area, and the First Hermitage cabin. This private event is open to only 20 people at a time, as you get a uniquely spooky look at this popular Nashville tourist destination. Topics discussed are the ghostly events of the Battle of New Orleans, Andrew Jackson, the Bell Witch, and a full tour of the Mansion. Be prepared for a spooky encounter or perhaps a visit from the President himself. This tour is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Join us….if you dare…
